Applications for the Community Engagement Fellowship are available in the fall of each year. Students who are interested in applying are highly encouraged to attend one of the Center's information sessions or to meet with Colin Dixon, program coordinator.
The application consists of a project proposal, a resume, and two letters of recommendation from faculty or professionals. The letters should be submitted in sealed envelopes and the recommender sign across the seal of the recommendation envelope. The Center's information sessions provide a walk-through of the application process. Students are strongly encouraged to attend.
Applicants are required to fill out the application form in its entirety, and BOTH upload the final documents through the online system AND submit a hard copy to the Colin L. Powell Center by March 12th, 2013. Please read the directions on page 2 of the application form carefully before submitting your application.
Completed applications, including letters of recommendation should be submitted to Wanda Mercado, Administrative Director, Colin L. Powell Center for Leadership and Service, Shepard Hall, Room 550.
Finalists will be interviewed in the late spring.
