Powell School for Civic and Global Leaderships. The School's broad offerings of instruction, research, and public discussion in the Social Sciences engages CCNY's core and historic mission to prepare students from all backgrounds to become successful and fully engaged citizens of the world.

The Center hosts conferences and special events to draw together community groups and other key audiences to advance solutions on today's pressing issues. In particular, events  focus on the Center's five "outcome" areas: international development and global security, education, the environment, community and economic development, and health.

Heine Professor of Finance at the Stern School of Business, New York University.
