Biana Lucien, a fourth-year student in the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, actively participates in extracurricular activities and clubs. These include Sisters of Sophie and the Student National Medical Association, where she is a community service liaison. She also volunteers at the Red Cross as a disaster responder. in doing so Bianca provides individuals who have suffered through a disaster such as a fire or a flood with money for emergency food, clothing, and housing. Helping people is her goal and one reason she plans to become a physician. In particular, she is focused on efforts to decrease obesity among children. Bianca hopes to obtain a master's of public health and work on projects in the New York State Department of Health.
