Nicole Caldwell, a native of the South Bronx, is pursuing a double major in political science and Black studies at CCNY, with a minor in psychology. An Edward I. Koch Scholar in Public Service, Nicole is dedicated to community service and has volunteered with Episcopal Social Services and for a local preschool. She plans to achieve a law degree and use her career to assist under-represented individuals. She also has served as an intern with the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office. There Nicole worked on the office’s alternative-to-incarceration program, and through this experience, she has developed a deep interest in policies surrounding incarceration and recidivism.
