The Financial Aid Office administers funds from federal, state, special programs and City College itself. The aim of the Office is to optimize the best combination of awards for our students from various sources such as scholarships, grants, loans, work opportunities and governmental benefits. Most of our award amounts are need, and you will have to maintain good academic standing.

The Bursar's Office collects tuition and fees from students and distributes checks to students as well as coordinating Perkins Loans. Online payments can be made through the CUNY Portal. Note VISA cards not accepted since August 1st 2008.

Scholarships are offered to entering freshman and transfer students. Selection is based on academic merit but in some cases need may be an additional requirement.




undefinedEmergency Loans
In emergencies small loans up to $350 are available to help our students with transportation expenses, books, etc but not for tuition. Forms available in the Bursar's Office and the  loans are administered by the Division of Student Affairs.
