Sustainable CCNY
CCNY Green
The Sustainability Project at The City College of New York

Green Roof of Steinman

CCNY Green is a commitment by the faculty, students and administration of The City College of New York to rethink the way we teach, learn, research, operate and live on campus. It is led by a multidisciplinary task force of faculty, students and administrators charged with promoting sustainable practices at CCNY. The task force coordinates multiple efforts to promote sustainable practices through learning across the various academic divisions, business and operations practices, and planning. The task force also ensures compliance with our obligations under the President's Climate Committment and the CUNY Sustainability Project/PlaNYC. Eleven working groups, each chaired by a member of the Task Force,  focus on different aspects of  sustainability at CCNY.

It is our intent that The City College become a major player in the Green Campus movement. As we implement our plans, this web site will be a source of information about upcoming activities and how you can help.
