Facilities Mission Statement:
The Facilities Division's commitment and purpose can be summarized in its' mission statement. The basic premise of our mission is to foster a safe, healthy, and comfortable campus to all students, faculty, staff and guests of the College. Our mission includes establishing protocols and programs that support a well functionning, aesthetically pleasing campus that the College community, the University, and our neighborhood community can be pleased with and proud of. In order to accomplish this we must provide the necessary services to maintain and operate the College's buildings and grounds so that the campus remains in good working order, clean, and are functionally efficient. Our buildings must be maintained so that they are safe and clean and provide quality services in an acceptable time frame to respond to the needs and requests of all campus infrastructure and equipment. We are committed to work with CUNY/DASNY in planning, designing and constructing projects that will correct infrastructure and systems that are at the end of their useful life or in a state of disrepair.
We will dedicate our efforts to ensure that the occupants of our campus are environmentally safe and that our occupational conditions are compliant with regulatory agencies. Our vision for The Facilities Group is to display strong customer service attitudes with a "can do" approach to requests, and an air of professional pride in our work and the completion of assignments.
