Director of NY Life Rc LLC., was one of the early students of Oriental medicine in the US. Dumisani studied acupuncture and received certification from the famous Dr. George His-Liang Chang of Taiwan.In 1978, at Harlem, NY, Dumisani apprenticed with one of the early pioneers of Acupuncture in the united states, Dr. Richard Delaney, OMD. In 1983 he practiced Acupuncture in Swaziland, South Africa and ran TCM clinic from 1983-1985. Upon return to the US., he furthered his studies of Chinese herbalism with Andrew Gamble, author of the definitive work Chinese herbal medicine materia medica and kwamo pharmacy owner, Chiao Leung, Chinatown, NY. Dumisani was among the first practitioners of Oriental medicine in the us. His practice spans from 1986 to present. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, the college of NJ., is a 2005 BA Professional studies/ MS oriental medicine graduate from The Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and most recently selected as clinical supervisor and instructor at his Alma mater.
